Caherciveen Credit Union are delighted to announce that are inviting local community groups and charities within their common bond area to enter their Community Group draw taking place on the 8th of December in the Credit Union. On the day we will donate a grand total of €1000 which will be split between three community groups. The top prize will be €500 and then the two runner-up prizes will be €250 each. This fantastic initiative is open to all local community groups and charities and application form to be included in the draw can be downloaded below.
Credit Union Manager Elma Shine explained “we fully understand that we are at the heart of the community here in Caherciveen and as a non-profit organisation we are proud to say that we have lead the way in Community Social Responsibility in recent years by always giving back and supporting local groups, charities, schools and events.” Elma continued, “that is why this Christmas we are aiming higher and better again and are donating more than ever before, and we are inviting all local community groups to come forward to be part of this on the 8th of December in the Credit Union.”
On the 8th of December there will be so much to see and do in Caherciveen Credit Union. Radio Kerry will be broadcasting live from the branch as Brendan Fueller and all the crew from the Afternoon host a fun afternoon and announce the lucky community group winners live on air. All the community groups and their supporters who have entered the Community draw will be asked to be present on the afternoon of the 8th of Dec as the winners are announced live on air.
Caherciveen Credit Union are once again celebrating a successful year and a year of more firsts, in spring 2017 they hosted the first ever consumer show in South Kerry. The Caherciveen Credit Union Home, Garden and Leisure show was a great success and galvanised the local business community in South Kerry who exhibited at the event.
